Our Story

Impactful Rescues
One of the most heartwarming stories at National Wildlife Awareness is the recent rescue of 15 pigs from an abuse and neglect case in California. These pigs now have a safe and loving home at our sanctuary, where they receive the care and attention they deserve. This rescue exemplifies our commitment to providing a second chance for animals in need.

A Day at the Sanctuary
A typical day at National Wildlife Awareness starts with the essential feeding and care of our sanctuary residents. Beyond daily care, our team is constantly building and improving enclosures, providing education to the community, and tirelessly raising funds to support our mission and save more lives. The challenges are significant, but our dedication never wavers.

Our Inspiration
The inspiration behind National Wildlife Awareness stems from a deep desire to help animals who have suffered from abuse and neglect. Seeing each animal thrive and enjoy their new life at the sanctuary is what keeps us motivated every day. Giving these animals a second chance at life is the heart of our mission.
